I don’t even know where to begin….so let’s just start from scratch. I woke up in the beautiful city at 9am and had my Venti Iced Starbucks Double Shot to start. Initially, I thought I was going to see Herve Leger but actually had my dates mixed up and didn’t even realize it until I got there!

Oh well, you’re already there, OWN IT. I said that to myself and walked in. Prior to that, getting ready was easy breezy. Here is an up close of my make up:

Eyeshadow: Nars
Lip Liner: Cherry by MAC
Lip Stick: Ruby Woo Matte by Mac
Foundation: Armani
Bronzer: Armani
Lashes: Extensions by my girl friend Jenny (Email me if you would like her contact info)

Dress: BCBG Max Azria
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Clutch: Fendi

When I stepped out of the Suburban and walked towards the Lincoln Center, I was consistently stopped by photographers. It was bananas!! At first, I tried to maintain my composure but when I saw 6 cameras in front of me one time I laughed so hard !! I’m like wait, what is happening here?? It’s not like I’m a celebrity….ya know? I remeber a woman telling me I looked like ‘Art with legs on it’. (Love it & yes, I’m 5’11)

Little did I know that WWD, New York Times and so many other major publications were the ones taking pictures. Later that night I got on Womens Wear Daily and saw that they published my picture !!

Yes, I lost it. I have been dreaming about NYFW my entire life and now that I’m here, it’s going so much better than I had planned. I have never been so grateful in my life. So over whelmed and happy at the same time.

LOVED Rebecca Minkoff’s show:

Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Thank you to everyone who has been there for me since day 1. You are appreciated.

Stay chic,
